~ A note from Tasha ~
For simplicity sake, we can begin here.

… golfer Tiger Woods deconstructed and reconstructed his swing not once, not twice, but three times in less than two decades. … Woods took a year off from playing competitively so that he could learn a new swing from the ground up, one element at a time. Away from the stress of competition, Woods was able to practice his new swing slowly and consciously. As Woods experienced, by practicing in a non stressful environment where old patterns were not triggered, he was able to develop and master a new movement pattern that became stronger and more efficient than the old one.
*from the book The Pain Relief Secret by Sarah Warren
This insight teaches an important lesson about what it means to create new movement patterns, and it hits home with the upcoming Kickstart Program.
It’s GOOD to go back to the beginning. (or start at the beginning). Imagine how hard it was for Tiger Woods, after setting records and winning tournaments, to take a whole year off and start again from the very beginning ~ as if he didn’t know anything!!! And then, a year later, come back stronger than before!!!!
In essence, this is the Kickstart Program.
Ask yourself ~
How is my breathing?
How is my alignment?
Am I comfortable sitting or standing for long periods of time?
Do I understand proper form?
Am I winded when I run up stairs, or walk up a steep hill?
The benefits that come from slowing down, deconstructing, and then building back up is HUGE and invaluable.
HERE’S YOUR CHANCE.
The Kickstart Program is 6 months long and one day per week for two reasons:
1. To give you enough time to adapt and make solid lasting physical changes.
2. So you can carry on with any regular weekly activities while still setting time aside each week dedicated to your SELF.
This non-stressful and supportive environment creates the possibility for you to feel your best … better than you imagine.
As a current participant I can say this program is awesome, it has developed my physical literacy on a whole different level, it’s one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I am still here more than a year later because it IS that good. PS – I do it on Zoom and I don’t feel like I’m sacrificing any quality in the teaching/learning/practice relationship. – Emily Smith
